Cobnuts for Canada

We were delighted to recently serve our first few cobnut customers from Canada. They came in quick succession so perhaps there has been some recent discussion in the Canadian press or foodie circles.

Kentish cobnuts are sometimes referred to as Du Chilly in Canada and the USA. They were a very popular variety but due to Eastern Filbert Blight (EFB) on the North American continent these longer shaped hazelnuts are becoming less common to find as the trees succumb to the disease.

We operate a quoted delivery service for Canadian customers. Please send an email and we will let you know the costs of delivery. We are only able to send dehusked cobnuts at present (not in leaf / husk but in shell). Please send your delivery details in your email.

We are only able to send 5kg-15kg. As an indication the delivery cost for a 10kg box of dehusked Kentish cobnuts to the east of Canada (Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia) is between £50-70.

We are happy to look into quotes for delivery for all of Canada. Please express your interest by sending us an email: store@roughwayfarm.co.uk
