Fresh Kentish Quince – New Season
Quinces have a lovely aromatic flavour that is almost citrus. They have the texture of pear and need to be cooked. They can be made into jelly and a range of other items. The astringent nature of quinces means they can be used in savoury dishes.
We like blending quince with apple as it adds an extra punch to a crumble or pie. Quince can also be made into a range of alcohol such as liqueur
Quince as been associated with helping digestion.
Quinces are likely to be marked and very ‘back to basics’ as some trees are very old, receive no interventions and are dotted around the farm opposed to being commercially planned and harvested like our apples for example. Markings on quinces are common and do not usually matter as they are a tough fruit for cooking and processing – the skin is also normally removed for consumption.
Quinces can also have a fur on them which is natural and like markings the prevalence of this varies year to year, it can be washed or wiped off easily. It is best to remove the tough skin of the quince which can be tricky to do with a knife, but easier with a vegetable peeler. Some recommend lightly cooking before removing the skin.

2025 Season – Out of stock – Select weight and add email for a 2026 notification
Tasty and flavoursome British Apricots. Perfect eaten fresh or turned into a range of scrumptious treats, desserts and jams. Currently Available in weights of 2kg, 3kg, 4kg, 5kg, 6kg, 7kg, 8kg and 10kg.
Looking after your fruit: We keep our Apricots chilled just hours after being picked to lock in the freshness. We also pick early avoid splitting and weather damage. With this in mind, if your Apricots arrive firm then allow to ripen further at room temperature. Once ripe or if they arrive ripe keep refrigerated in salad draw until you are ready to enjoy.
We have a small block of apricot trees on the farm so we top up our own grown apricots with our friends apricots, these are very carefully sourced and also grown in Kent.
Our Apricot Boxes are:
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Perfect for parties
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Great value
– Â Â Â Â Â Farm fresh quality
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Reduced time from field to table
– Â Â Â Â Â Directly Supporting British Farming
Standard or Seconds
Apricots are a hard crop to grow and can frequently suffer from blemishing, odd shapes etc. We are offering the opportunity to buy some of this perfectly imperfect fruit. Seconds will principally have lots of black markings on the flesh on the majority of the order’s apricots, some of these markings may appear on standard but there will be more common on an order of seconds.
Delivery
Our fresh fruit one day delivery service currently operates in mainland England and Wales from Monday to Friday*. All of our apricots come packaged in card boxes with protection to ensure quality from field to table. The apricots are loose in the box.

Fresh British Miracot – Also known as Aprimira –Â In Stock
Aprimira is a unique and totally delicious stone fruit. It is a cross between Apricot and Mirabelle and is a combination of both flavours and textures.
It is a relatively new fruit and we love how both the apricot and Mirabelle compliment each other. You can taste the Mirabelle and the apricot and what stands out is the thicker texture from the apricot. Aprimira is also know as Miracot. Don’t miss out on trying this new seasonal treat.
Why not try with some of our other stone fruits? Such as our Plums, Greengages and Mirabelles. All available to order online when in season.
On arrival – If firm allow to ripen to preference outside or inside fridge. Then when at desired ripeness refrigerate. You want your aprimira to turn from green to oranges and yellows.
Gift of Aprimira – If you want to give some scrumptious Aprimira as a gift then please add your short note to the customer comments section when ordering. We have small cards we can add to the order.

Perfect for those wanting to cook and create with cherries. Also for those who want to enjoy a bowl of cherries without a bowl for the stones.

Greengages are a really special treat this time of year, their deliciously succulent taste is perfect on its own but also in a variety of dishes.
