2023 Season –  OUT OF STOCK – See you in 2024 – Sign up to get notified below

We have a limited range of white cherries on the farm. They are an eclectic mix of varieties that are generally lighter in appearance and are a charming mix of reds and yellows on the outer skin. White cherries taste different to black/dark red cherries, they are still sweet but the flesh is a mixture of oranges, whites and yellows, they are ever so slightly reminiscent of a peach or nectarine but the flavour is still distinctly that of a cherry. They are certainly worth trying!

White cherries can still be red on the outside! So do not be shocked if you have a box of light red cherries. The more common difference is that the flesh inside the cherry is white / yellow opposed to red, purple or black. We could send any variety of white cherry we have so pictures are for display only.

Supply and availability – We have a very limited number of white cherry varieties on the farm. So our supply in 2023 will be very limited. We will be dispatching orders in the order they are received.

We may have to refund your order if we get more orders than supply. For the last 3 years we have sold out very quickly, so please be aware to avoid disappointment

It is likely we will sell out of this variety.

  • Perfect for parties
  • A wonderful gift for friends and relatives
  • Farm fresh quality
  • Reduced time from field to table
  • Traceability – Know exactly where your cherries have come from

Our fresh fruit one day delivery service currently operates in mainland England and Wales from Monday to Friday*. All fruit is different and so we will select delicious fruit to send but images are for display purposes.

Please add a note to your order if you are planning in advance and want your fruit by a specific day. All fruit is different and so we will select delicious fruit to send but images are for display purposes.

Cobnut Cards

During the Winter, Kentish Cobnut plantations (platts) are transformed into magical and serene environments. We are delighted to offer you a unique snapshot of these heritage and beautiful Kentish landscapes in the Winter’s snow.

Our unique card packs feature a reproduction of a wonderful oil painting by Kentish landscape artist Jane Cannon.

Jane specialises in painting rural farming landscapes and identifies with the landscape tradition in British romantic and neo romantic art exemplified by artists such as Samuel Palmer and Paul Nash. Jane also look’s to the realism found in the work of artists such as J F Millet. See more of Jane’s work here

The painting on our cards shows a historic multistem cobnut platt in the snow. These trees have been pruned in the traditional style with gnarled knuckles at the top of the stems forming the main cropping area during harvest.

Send a snapshot of Kent and British farming to a loved one, friend or colleague.

About the cards:

  • Each pack contains 5 cards and 5 envelopes
  • The cards are blank inside to allow for your own message in or outside of Christmas
  • Each envelop has its own non lick strip seal
  • Each card is printed on quality uncoated card and is A6 when folded.
  • On the back there are details of the artist
  • Cards are printed in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

2023 Harvest – Out of Stock – Sign up to get notified about the fresh 2024 season below – Harvest September

Jan 2024 – This time of year we recommend buying dehusked Cobnuts as the husks can be less appealing. Although the kernels are delicious. Husked nuts may need to be allowed to air and dry on arrival. The nuts are drier and sweeter than when first picked in September.

Our fresh Green/Golden Gunslebert Cobnuts are now available for pre-order. The Gunslebert  is a variety of hazelnut that has a unique and enjoyable flavour. As a nut the Gunslebert is more rounded than the Kent Cob and it also has a frilly husk. As a nut they can be eaten fresh or used in dishes.

Our Gunslebert Cobnuts are available in weights ranging from 500g to 20kg and are harvested between September and October.

Multi Orders: We now offer improved delivery rates but please note if you order or preorder different varieties of cobnut (Kent, Gunslebert, Ennis, Butler) or multiple items we will dispatch them together when all are available as we no longer charge delivery fees per item. Please order fresh fruit separately as most fruits are harvested before cobnut season.

Green Gunslebert Cobnuts qualify for our new Free Delivery option. Spend over £60 on eligible products and you will get free delivery.
