The outdoor Rhubarb season slows in June-August.
Our Rhubarb Boxes are:

–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Great value
– Â Â Â Â Â Farm fresh quality

– Â Â Â Â Â Directly Supporting British Farming
Looking after your Rhubarb
We keep the Rhubarb chilled to lock in the freshness. When your bundle arrives if not putting to work straight away then keep it in the fridge. You will have around 1 week with it being at its best but do monitor. Rhubarb is quite hardy and so if you leave it a bit too long then it is worth trying to cook with it so it doesn’t go to waste. Rhubarb can be chopped and frozen.

2026 Season –Â Pre-order – Dispatched on harvest. Approximately W/C 13th July –Â Please note if ordering another item all items are sent together.Â
We have a limited range of white cherries on the farm. They are an eclectic mix of varieties that are generally lighter in appearance and are a charming mix of reds and yellows on the outer skin. White cherries taste different to black/dark red cherries, they are still sweet but the flesh is a mixture of oranges, whites and yellows, they are ever so slightly reminiscent of a peach or nectarine but the flavour is still distinctly that of a cherry. They are certainly worth trying!
White cherries can still be red on the outside! So do not be shocked if you have a box of light red cherries. The more common difference is that the flesh inside the cherry is white / yellow opposed to red, purple or black. We could send any variety of white cherry we have so pictures are for display only.
Supply and availability – We have a very limited number of white cherry varieties on the farm. So our supply will be limited. We will be dispatching orders in the order they are received.
We may have to refund your order if we get more orders than supply. So please be aware to avoid disappointment.Â
Please add a note to your order if you are planning in advance and want your fruit by a specific day. All fruit is different and so we will select delicious fruit to send but images are for display purposes.

Cobnut Cards
During the Winter, Kentish Cobnut plantations (platts) are transformed into magical and serene environments. We are delighted to offer you a unique snapshot of these heritage and beautiful Kentish landscapes in the Winter’s snow.
Our unique card packs feature a reproduction of a wonderful oil painting by Kentish landscape artist Jane Cannon.
Jane specialises in painting rural farming landscapes and identifies with the landscape tradition in British romantic and neo romantic art exemplified by artists such as Samuel Palmer and Paul Nash. Jane also look’s to the realism found in the work of artists such as J F Millet. See more of Jane’s work hereÂ
The painting on our cards shows a historic multi-stem cobnut plat in the snow. These trees have been pruned in the traditional style with gnarled knuckles at the top of the stems forming the main cropping area during harvest.
Send a snapshot of Kent and British farming to a loved one, friend or colleague.

Succulent, unique and an excellent conversation starter around the dinner table. Greengages are a really special treat this time of year, their deliciously succulent taste is perfect on its own but also in a variety of dishes. Greengages were later established in the newly independent USA and grown by George Washington. A significant number of cultivars have been established in the UK ranging from Cambridge Gage to Laxton’s Supreme.

Fresh Kentish Quince – Out of stock – Join 2026 harvest notification list – Select weight and add email belowÂ
Quinces have a lovely aromatic flavour that is almost citrus. They have the texture of pear and need to be cooked. They can be made into jelly and a range of other items. The astringent nature of quinces means they can be used in savoury dishes.
We like blending quince with apple as it adds an extra punch to a crumble or pie. Quince can also be made into a range of alcohol such as liqueur
Quince as been associated with helping digestion.
Quinces are likely to be marked and very ‘back to basics’ as some trees are very old, receive no interventions and are dotted around the farm opposed to being commercially planned and harvested like our apples for example. Markings on quinces are common and do not usually matter as they are a tough fruit for cooking and processing – the skin is also normally removed for consumption.
Quinces can also have a fur on them which is natural and like markings the prevalence of this varies year to year, it can be washed or wiped off easily. It is best to remove the tough skin of the quince which can be tricky to do with a knife, but easier with a vegetable peeler. Some recommend lightly cooking before removing the skin.
