For the first time ever we are opening for pick your own pumpkins this October 2026. The small secret pumpkin patch is at a field near Hadlow nestled in between our apple trees. We have a few varieties of pumpkin including the fantastic yellow and orange Fireball.
We are taking booking 17th-25th October we will add later dates when we know how the first few picks have gone.
The severe drought this year has meant there are less pumpkins and they are also smaller.
You will need to book a time slot online. Time slots have limited numbers and you will need to arrive during your time slot.
Costs: You will need to pay £4 in advance per adult / teenager, this is your time slot and will cover the cost of your first small (15-20cm) pumpkin. You will then be able to pick as many pumpkins as you want and they will be charged for by size/weight and variety.
Bringing children (Under 12) is welcome and they do not need an advanced pumpkin booking.
The field is completely outside in the open and muddy so you must be ready for the elements. Please wear appropriate footwear. Please look out for pumpkin vines, apple tree branches, and wire framework for the apples.
If there is adverse weather conditions we will have to refund and cancel.

Our fresh Green / Golden Cobnuts are widely renowned for their full flavour, they are perfect in dishes or simply on their own. Cobnuts have a nationally recognised nutritional profile and are said to be fantastic sources of protein:
Cobnut kernels typically contain 12%-17% protein by dry weight, and about 10%-15% fibre. Cobnuts are very rich in vitamin E and in calcium, typically containing about 21mg and 141mg per 100g kernel (dry weight) respectively. They provide about 0.4mg and 0.55mg of vitamins B1 and B6 respectively per 100g dry weight.
Our Cobnuts are available in weights ranging from 500g to 20kg and are harvested between August and October.

We have a range of our apple varieties available from crunchy Gala to the fantastic British Blush. When ordering either select a specific variety or alternatively select Any Eating Variety and we will send the most current variety. We will send out delicious apples, there may be occasional marks, but the taste will be fantastic.
We also have a limited supply of Bramley apples. These range in size and shape. Bramley is particularly prone to marking (because they are more prone to hail markings). Bramley will need to be specifically selected as this is most commonly known as a cooking variety.
Please be aware that the apple harvest can move rapidly so we may have to substitute a ordered apple variety.

Enjoy the delicious taste of British Pears by ordering a bumper box. Currently Available in weights from 4kg to 9kg.
We have a range of pear varieties available from Conference and Comice to the heritage variety Williams. We also have the more exotic Celina – a red blushed pear. We also have a limited supply of heritage cooking pears known as Black Worcester Pears. For 2025 we have started offering Red Asian pears, these are crunchy, sweet and eat like an apple they are very moreish and not to be missed.
When ordering either select a specific variety or alternatively select Any Eating Variety and we will send the most current variety. We will send out delicious pears, there may be occasional marks, but the taste will be fantastic. They will be sent firm and will need to be left to soften and sweeten further.

Fresh Kentish Quince 2kg-8kg
Fresh Kentish Quince – In Stock – 2026 season
Quinces have a lovely aromatic flavour that is almost citrus. They have the texture of pear and need to be cooked. They can be made into jelly and a range of other items. The astringent nature of quinces means they can be used in savoury dishes.
We like blending quince with apple as it adds an extra punch to a crumble or pie. Quince can also be made into a range of alcohol such as liqueur
Quince as been associated with helping digestion.
Quinces are likely to be marked and very ‘back to basics’ as some trees are very old, receive no interventions and are dotted around the farm opposed to being commercially planned and harvested like our apples for example. Markings on quinces are common and do not usually matter as they are a tough fruit for cooking and processing – the skin is also normally removed for consumption.
Quinces can also have a fur on them which is natural and like markings the prevalence of this varies year to year, it can be washed or wiped off easily. It is best to remove the tough skin of the quince which can be tricky to do with a knife, but easier with a vegetable peeler. Some recommend lightly cooking before removing the skin.

Enjoy a pack of our roasted cobnuts as a snack or add them to your baking. Fantastic on their own or with other added flavourings such as salt, salt & herbs, honey, sugar, cinnamon – the possibilities are endless!
We crack and roast our own cobnuts grown at the farm. Our Roasted Cobnuts are available in 60g pouches. When ordering you are ordering multiple 60g pouches of roasted cobnuts.
Kentish Cobnuts are a heritage and specially cultivated variety of hazelnut. At the farm we grow a range of varieties which include Kent, Ennis and Gunslebert. Our roasted cobnuts could use any of these varieties or even be a mix.
We particularly enjoy making our own roasted cobnut flavour mixes to enjoy with drinks. Also boosting the nut content of cereal and puddings is another fantastic use. Cobnuts are also high in protein and contain good fats and vitamins.

Our Cracking Cobnut Crunch Granola is packed full of roasted cobnuts providing a satisfying nuttyness with a mix of chopped and whole cobnuts. Our granola is also full of good seeds such as pumpkin, sunflower and sesame. The granola has been lightly sweetened with agave syrup which is healthier than sugar providing a good level of sweetness that doesn’t overwhelm the natural grains.
The granola is enjoyable with milk and a fantastic topping to yoghurt.
