Our fresh Green / Golden Cobnuts are widely renowned for their full flavour, they are perfect in dishes or simply on their own. Cobnuts have a nationally recognised nutritional profile and are said to be fantastic sources of protein:
Cobnut kernels typically contain 12%-17% protein by dry weight, and about 10%-15% fibre. Cobnuts are very rich in vitamin E and in calcium, typically containing about 21mg and 141mg per 100g kernel (dry weight) respectively. They provide about 0.4mg and 0.55mg of vitamins B1 and B6 respectively per 100g dry weight.
Our Cobnuts are available in weights ranging from 500g to 20kg and are harvested between August and October.

Looking after your fruit: We keep our plums chilled just hours after being picked to lock in the freshness. We also pick to avoid splitting and weather damage. With this in mind, if your plums arrive firm then allow your plums to ripen further at room temperature. Once ripe to taste or if they arrive ripe keep refrigerated in salad draw until you are ready to enjoy.

Distinctly different in flavour to many plum varieties greengages are a real seasonal treat. We would describe the flavour as gloriously reminiscent of honey but with a lovely fruity freshness.

A mouth watering stone fruit more often associated with hotter countries. These Kentish grown Flat Peaches are not to be missed! Full of juice they quite obviously stand out from imported flat peaches. Grown on our friends farm just 10 minutes from Roughway as a trial we are delighted to share this exciting new UK fruit with our customers.
Sent firm where possible so allow time to ripen. Refrigeration is always recommended.
Important Message Before Ordering – Peaches mark very easily, often on the tree before they even get picked. They leave pressure marks on each other and the most juicy peaches can also get what look like bruises at the top while the rest of the peach is firm, these peaches are often the best – they are the most juicy and sweetest. So please be aware before ordering that we send these peaches and look at the photos provided of the common marks.

A heritage stone fruit that is fantastic turned into a range of scrumptious treats, desserts and jams. The can also be an addition to roast joints and other savoury cooking. Currently Available in weights of 1.25kg, 2kg, 3kg, 4kg, 5kg, 6kg, 7kg, 8kg and 9kg.
If unfamiliar with Damsons they are a fruit mostly used for cooking as they are more tart than other stone fruits.
Looking after your fruit: We keep the Damsons chilled just hours after being picked to lock in the freshness. We also pick early avoid splitting and weather damage. With this in mind, if your Damsons arrive firm then allow to ripen further at room temperature. Once ripe or if they arrive ripe keep refrigerated in salad draw until you are ready to enjoy. Remember damsons are usually pretty firm and tart.

Fresh British Mirabelles – 1.25Kg – 4kg
Fresh Mirabelles – 2026 Season – Dispatching
Mirabelle Plums also known as Cherry Plums are sweet and full of flavour. They are perfect fresh but they can also be made into fantastic jams and even brandy. Speckled markings feature on the golden flesh. They are typically harvested between August and September depending on conditions. If your Mirabelles arrive green allow them to go a lovely yellow in fridge or out of the fridge for quicker results, if ripening out of fridge avoid direct mid day sun and refrigerate when yellow.
Mirabelle plums feature in many French dishes including Tarte aux Mirabelles.

Aprimira is a unique and totally delicious stone fruit. It is a cross between Apricot and Mirabelle and is a combination of both flavours and textures.
It is a relatively new fruit and we love how both the apricot and Mirabelle compliment each other. You can taste the Mirabelle and the apricot and what stands out is the thicker texture from the apricot. Aprimira is also know as Miracot. Don’t miss out on trying this new seasonal treat.

We have a range of our apple varieties available from crunchy Gala to the fantastic British Blush. When ordering either select a specific variety or alternatively select Any Eating Variety and we will send the most current variety. We will send out delicious apples, there may be occasional marks, but the taste will be fantastic.
We also have a limited supply of Bramley apples. These range in size and shape. Bramley is particularly prone to marking (because they are more prone to hail markings). Bramley will need to be specifically selected as this is most commonly known as a cooking variety.
Please be aware that the apple harvest can move rapidly so we may have to substitute a ordered apple variety.
