The Ennis is a large, round and flavoursome cobnut. When green Ennis Cobnuts have tight green husks. As a nut they can be eaten fresh or used in dishes. They are popular due to their size in comparison to the Kent Cob and the Gunslebert. Ennis Cobnuts are usually in short supply so don’t miss out!
Our Ennis Cobnuts are available in weights ranging from 500g to 3kg and are harvested between October – November, as such orders outside that time frame are considered pre-orders and will be delivered as soon as our Cobnuts are ready to eat.

Our fresh Green/Golden Gunslebert Cobnuts are now available for pre-order. The Gunslebert is a variety of hazelnut that has a unique and enjoyable flavour. As a nut the Gunslebert is more rounded than the Kent Cob and also has a frilly husk. As a nut they can be eaten fresh or used in dishes.
Our Gunslebert Cobnuts are available in weights ranging from 500g to 20kg and are harvested between September and October.
Our Cobnut Dukkah Gift Sets showcase some of the best of Kent. Each complete set contains a jar of our own handmade and award winning cobnut dukkah, two exclusively handmade dipping bowls from Aylesford Pottery in Kent and one 100ml bottle of Cold Pressed Kentish Rapeseed Oil by Kentish Oils.

Cobnuts (Allergen) Sesame Seeds (Allergen) Coriander Seeds Cumin Seeds Oregano Salt Pepper Our handmade Cobnut Dukkah is perfect with a delicious sourdough dipped in British rapeseed oil. The delightful nutty flavours are incredibly moreish and can also make an excellent addition to meats, potatoes, roasted veg and various other dishes. The pottery also runs a school of ceramics for over 100 students. Two master potters Alan Parris and Billy Byles run the pottery today. Set in the grounds of the Aylesford Priory, just outside Maidstone, it is open seven days a week. Every bottle & jar is produced by hand in small batches, quality checked & packaged with love. Kentish Oils Rapeseed Oil has been produced at our SALSA accredited farm-based unit since 2008 with 100% traceability back to the field the oilseed has been grown on. By carefully selecting only the very best varieties of rapeseed, grown specifically for us here in Kent, and then cold pressing & filtering, we are able to produce a nutritious rapeseed oil with a distinct colour & flavour.
The Aylesford Pottery in Kent is one of the few surviving commercial potteries in the south east of England making a range of handmade thrown and handbuilt ceramics, plus architectural commissions.

Tasty Dehusked Kent Cobs – 04/02/21 – Running Low – We have begun to run out of 2020 season dehusked cobnuts. Larger weights are now out of stock. You can order 500g to 3kg here. Below you can join up to a notification list for when these become available again in the Autumn.
Our delicious Dehusked Kent Cobnuts are full of flavour and are perfect in dishes or simply on their own. Dehusked Kent Cobnuts become darker during the season. Cobnuts have a nationally recognised nutritional profile and are said to be fantastic sources of protein:
Cobnut kernels typically contain 12%-17% protein by dry weight, and about 10%-15% fibre. Cobnuts are very rich in vitamin E and in calcium, typically containing about 21mg and 141mg per 100g kernel (dry weight) respectively. They provide about 0.4mg and 0.55mg of vitamins B1 and B6 respectively per 100g dry weight.

Our Dehusked Cobnuts are currently available in weights ranging from 500g to 3 kg and are available after the Green season has finished (around September – October) and when it becomes possible to remove the husks. Please note that dehusked nuts still have a shell.

Our gift bags are available in bag of 500g or 1kg. To preserve the moisture in the nuts you should consider refrigeration or keep them in cool location. If your recipient likes milky kernels you could store the nuts in the salad draw and then place back into the gift bag when gifting.

Our award winning Cobnut Dukkah is now available in lovely gift bags. Two bags types are available, a one jar bag (50g x 1) and a larger 2 jar bag (50g x 2).
Dukkah sometimes spelt duqqa is a middle eastern condiment. In the bazaars of Egypt the blends can vary from each vendor, with distinctive family recipes adding unique twists. We have added our own unique twist by adding our finest handpicked Kentish grown cobnuts.
Our handmade Cobnut Dukkah is perfect with a delicious sourdough dipped in British rapeseed oil. The social process of breaking bread is perfect for parties, dinner guests and for a light bite to eat.
The delightful nutty flavours are incredibly moreish and can also make an excellent addition to meats, potatoes and various other dishes. We have tried our Dukkah on roasted vegetables, potatoes, chicken, pork and even as a finishing touch to pizza.
