Last month we announce that we would be creating a number of delicious Kentish cobnut recipes for you to all enjoy. To help us develop these recipes we have been working with Julie Friend, BBC MasterChef winner 1997.
The recipe series is called Roughway Originals and its objective is to share some easy and delicious dish ideas for Kent Cobnuts. We are often asked ‘What do you do with Kent cobnuts?’ and we would like to provide some answers. Our first recipe in the series is now available, a truly scrumptious recipe for Kent Cobnut and cranberry biscotti.
Eating this bicuit was a real treat, the cobnut adds an intense flavour and compliments the sweetness from the cranberry. What we particularly like about it was the fact that it is a biscuit to be savoured and enjoyed. It is perfect with a coffee or tea.
